A note to all you internet readers out there, wherever you may be:

When someone is explaining to a friend how a close family friend has recently passed away, and is describing who that person was and how that person had a place in your life, do not think for a minute that it is cute or funny to interrupt the conversation because you are not getting enough attention. Even if a certain aspect of yourself resembles a stereotype associated with a particular ethnic group.

I mean, i probably shouldn't be so upset because Lord knows I'm just having a terrific day today, and of course it is just incredibly easy to talk about the recently deceased. And I probably should have been more concerned with involving you in our conversation because I mean, its not like i was just waiting to release a tiny bit of emotion to the first person I know would actually listen. I am terribly sorry.

Oh, and I'm sorry I managed to interrupt your one on one time while I was at it. I guess I was just full of myself tonight, huh?
