I miss her

Book Barn!

Book Barn rulez!

Seriously though, it does. Next time you plan a trip to the beach, spare a few hours to go to the Book Barn. 350,000 used books. Awesome. I can't even begin to describe it's awesomeness, so you know what? Google "Book Barn Niantic" and see it for yourself.

Yeah, so me and stacey and don headed out to book barn and then went to the beach for some good old fun. I got hit on by this black dude! It was funny, because it was one of those moments where I was like "holy crap im a girl!" and also "holy crap, black people occasionally find me attractive! Why am I going to school in Minnesota!?!?"

I also fell while we were walking around the big rocks on the shore and cut myself a few times. Le sigh.

But it was a totally fun time, and i hadnt been to the beach in a while. Oh, and when we were at Book Barn I found this book "It's like this, cat" that I had read when i was a kid and it was like I rediscovered my childhood for a dollar. Yesssssssss!

I also noticed while we were driving back and forth from the shore how pretty Connecticut is, what with its rolling hills and green shrubberies. It makes me really sad that I won't be here in the fall. I think if the weather is permitting I'm going to ride home during Thanksgiving Break. It'll be pretty risky, what with all the traffic and the say 25 hours it takes, but I think I can't miss another fall. No way. Oh and friends and family and all that crap.

But seriously, I am a fan of scenic stuff. Don mentioned that at Book Barn i had only taken pictures of the place and no pictures of any people, haha. But its true, I do that. I think i get it from my dad, as like half of our old photo albums are of like, geese flying in the distance and random crap like that.

Today's Dinosaur Comic represents how I miss my friend Marlene. With simplicity and elegance, T-Rex relays my feelings to the Internet World. I'm now convinced there is a Dinosaur Comic available for anything I might want to say.
