Baker Lawley is Hot!

Alright, I've been meaning to set up a blog for a while now, but whenever I tried I just realized that I don't have much to say... I think over the process of the past year I've tried setting up one of these many many a time, but just ended up deleting them before i made an entry. Perhaps I have been given some inspiration to start again considering it seems that every time i look at an AIM profile a new blog pops up. And as stalkerish as it may be, I do enjoy reading them.

Well, might as well start with whats been going on of late. I think I purposefully waited for this moment: I'm going to begin a blog where in my first entry I shall share about something as ridiculous as last night's Tampon fest '07. Before you get disgusted, there wasn't actually festivities; we were all hanging out in good old section 3-A when like 8 girls come by all brandishing tampon samples. It was quite hilarious because they come in with their whole schpeal about how "The Trainer's Office is getting rid of these free samples, they have like 50 boxes of 'em!" and then we reply with awkward laughter and look at each other and then the girls, and the each other again. Then, of course, pretty much everyone goes "Sure, I'll take some!" and our section now has a crapload of Tampon boxes, EVERYWHERE.

It makes me laugh because I know that if this was high school I would probably have adamantly refused the tampons and then probably denied I ever used them and then just to be clear that I don't use the tampons I might try to convince everyone that I just don't get my period. College changes you, haha.

I would like to take the time to note that this will probably be last entry I talk about something as awkward as tampons, so don't worry. Then again, I said probably.

In other news, today is Reading Day. I gots two finals that I'm pretty much not worried about and then two papers that I AM worried about. Half and half I guess. The trouble is going to lie in whether or not I can get my lazy butt cranking away on that first paper, which by the way is a pretty ridiculous topic. It's for my Appreciation of Fiction class that I'm taking just for an ENG Gen-Ed credit (It's ENG 101, haha) and the paper is basically "Choose one of the works of fiction we read and explain why you think it is the best work of fiction", in 4-6 pages. 4-6 pages!?!?!  That paper is going to be like 1 page of real reflection and 3 pages b.s. filler, I can tell you that much. Professor Lawley, if you weren't so hot I'd be upset with you right now!

On that note, this blog is getting long. To sum up, TAMPONS! and Reading Day!, and Baker Lawley is Hot!
